Hey everyone-
We just wanted to thank Pastor Jon and Coleen and Pastor Jan for everything they did this weekend. We are so blessed to have Pastors who care enough to spend the time to get this ministry on the right track. We are so blessed to be a part of such an awesome team, and we can't wait to see what God has for the youth ministry this year. May God bless you in all that you do. I dont really know how to do this, so I hope this works.

Well, they finally did it! Jason, my borther, and Hannah are engaged! He asked her last night while they were at some ski lodge for a vacation! There wedding should be in August. I am so happy and excited for them; and Brady and Brandi!!! Yeeeeee! (that's an excited sound; you two are great!)

And to let you all know, I will be missing the Sat. night service and Sunday morning service. I'm going to a college student leadership conference in Rochester. It is put on by Chi Alpha, so I should get some great stuff from God that I can take home and to school. I'm going to really miss you guys like the other time I missed church. See you soon! Mark

Hey guys,

Thought I would give you some information on the youth leaders networking meeting.

The Reggie Dabbs event was the main topic of discussion. Pastor Jeremy is in need of much help and I told him that we would help any way possible. The total cost of the event is $4000 dollars. He is going to need altar workers for the night of the event. Also he is looking for donation from buisnesses in town so I was thinking of going out like Beth and Laurie did and see what we could get. The donations would be used as door prizes.

Also January 31st. is "The Rally" it is a youth rally for the the Reggie event. The goal of the event is to come together as the body of Christ as worship and pray together for our community and equip the students for the event. This will be an awesome event, I put a flyer for it on the youth board.

Finally, the E Free church is having a concert in March. They are have The Afters and Mainstay up they are still deciding on the price of the tickets. Jerry is hoping that there will be a decent turn out so that they can cover costs. We can discuss our involvement in these events and other activities coming up in our community on Monday. Stuff to follow up on..

1. Vision statement and purpose.. how to determine the vision.. what is it you see the ministry being in 3, 5 ,7,11,13,23, etc.. years from now.. describe in a short sentence what is is the group will look like, act like, respond to. etc..

2. Listing the Core values or those things that need to be in place in order for you to succeed in your vision the ministry.

3. Question for Brad.. start thinnking.. Make them hard.. and very fuzzy.. i like to see him really think.. if we pull hard enough he will give us stuff that isnt off the top but the core of who he is and why he succeeds.

4. Youth Corner
A. Bulletin board .. I like the start keep it up. Formal pics sports etc.. i love what you got going.
B. Bulletin for services. (what is the youth doing, when where in the bulletin fancy and youthy.)
